I'm a developer and designer based in Nairobi. I started PlainSight because most Kenyan businesses are underserved by the web: sites that look fine but are slow, unmaintained and disconnected from how the business actually runs. I design and build websites, systems and apps, host them on infrastructure I manage, and stay responsible for how they perform.

Systems over pages
A website is just the front door. I build what’s behind it too: the systems, the hosting, the upkeep that keep the whole thing working long after launch.
One accountable person
I design it, build it, host it and answer for it. When you call, you're talking to the person who wrote the code, not an account manager.
Built for Kenya first
M-Pesa flows, mobile-first layouts, speeds that work on real Kenyan networks. I optimize for the visitors you actually have, not a benchmark on fast wifi.
Maintained like a product
Monitoring, updates and backups are part of the job, not an upsell. What I ship keeps working, and keeps improving, long after launch.

Shipped websites and internal tools across construction, non-profit, and services. Saw the same pattern everywhere: sites that looked fine but converted poorly.
The shift
From projects to platforms
Realized that handing over a website and walking away serves nobody. PlainSight became a full agency: design, build, hosting and long-term care under one roof.

Are you an agency or a solo operator?
I run PlainSight directly and personally handle strategy and build. For specialized work I bring in trusted collaborators, but you're always talking to the person responsible for the outcome.
What do you charge?
Fixed, written quotes for design and build, and a monthly care plan for hosting and maintenance. No surprises and no lock-in, and every payment comes with a proper invoice.
Do you take on every client?
No. I keep the client list small so every site and system gets real attention. If we're not a fit, or you don't actually need what I sell, I'll tell you straight.
